Trey Cecil

Trey Cecil, the Floor Manager at Veritas, has a sense of unrelenting hospitality born out of his unwavering positive attitude. In July of 2022 he was hired as a server at Veritas, and his skills allowed him to move quickly into a bartending position followed by lead server before being promoted to Floor Manager. 

Well educated and tenacious, Trey has an Associates in paralegal studies, a Bachelor's degree in business, and is currently studying for his LSATs to get into law school. His work in various positions at the restaurant has helped him build a bank of knowledge, making him an expert in food and beverage pairings. One thing Trey really enjoys at work is making the martinis, specifically the Veritas Lemon Drop Martini. 

Though it seems a simple drink on the surface, Trey recognizes that a few extra steps can take it to a new level of personalization to each individual guest. Being able to work with his partner at Veritas makes his position all the better, and his proximity to his hometown of Michigan Center certainly has its perks, too. Outside of work, Trey performs in the Jackson Community Band, and plays flute and baritone saxophone. He enjoys going for walks throughout the four seasons Michigan has to offer, window shopping, and meeting new people around town.
